Cost per lead (CPL)
The average amount you pay for one enquiry. CPL varies by platform and institute type. For example, a K‑12 school may pay ₹100–₹300 on Meta and ₹150–₹450 on Google.
Conversion rate
The percentage of leads that actually enroll. Higher conversion rates come from better follow‑up and lead quality. The calculator uses real ranges — from 1% for online courses up to 15% for pre‑schools.
Location competitiveness
Ad costs are higher in saturated metros. We apply a multiplier: Tier 2/3 cities get 0.85×, Tier 1 cities 1.0×, and highly competitive metros 1.25× on top of CPL. This reflects actual bidding pressure.
Budget range
The tool computes the most optimistic budget (lowest CPL, highest conversion) and the most conservative (highest CPL, lowest conversion). The spread shows uncertainty — you can use the midpoint as a realistic starting point.
Timeline impact
Shorter campaigns force higher bids and increase CPL. A 30‑day campaign can cost up to 40% more per lead than a relaxed 90‑day campaign. This multiplier is applied only to the lead cost.
